Cambium Networks E501S Outdoor Sector Access Point is the solution for long-range public Wi-Fi coverage. The long range access point has 90° – 120° coverage and an operating temperature of -30° – +60° C with a rugged exterior and electrical heater for cold starts.
Outstanding Performance
This enterprise-grade wireless access point has an integrated sector antenna supporting 256 users and 16 SSIDs with WPA-2 encryption, Dynamic VLANs, DFS channels and ACL. The E501S is also a mesh access point capable of the rapid setup of multi-hop mesh networks and can dedicate one radio for mesh backhaul or use both bands for client access.
Superior Functionality
This commercial-grade wireless access point provides Wireless Backhaul Integration with PoE out from the aux PoE port which eliminates the need for a second power line, great for powering on Cambium’s PMP450 or ePMP backhaul modules for backhaul enabled Wi-Fi hotspots. Dual onboard Active/Standby memory banks are capable of storing two versions of software and falling back on a working operational copy.
Easy Configuration
From monitoring critical stats and alarms to mass upgrades and troubleshooting anything from Wi-Fi, APs, Clients and Cambium SMs, the E501S wireless access point has it covered. The cnMaestro Wi-Fi Controller allows easy set up for guest access, social logins, vouchers and custom splash pages with zero touch provisioning to save time and manpower.

E501S outdoor wireless access point provides dual Gigabit Ethernet Ports, a dual polarized 2×2 MIMO integrated sector antenna, and WPA-2 (802.11i): WPA2-Enterprise (802.1x/EAP) and WPA2 Pre-shared keys for SSID security. Weighs 881 g (1,063 g with bracket), and mounts easily on pole or wall with included brackets and Kensington lock. Includes two multi-color LEDs to visually confirm Access Point and cnMaestro connection status.
